You have probably heard all about clean eating in the press and social media. It is a diet or lifestyle where you consume little to no processed foods or junk, instead focussing on whole foods which have not been tampered with or processed.
One way to begin is to keep a food diary for a few days. Then, highlight any foods which are processed, contain artificial ingredients (and chemicals) or class as junk food. These are the things you should be eliminating from your diet.
Once you have established the foods to avoid, next focus on adding in better choices. Choose real foods, such as fresh fruit and vegetables, whole grains, meats, poultry and legumes to fill your plate. You can still have things such as bread, milk, cheese and butter as these have not been massively tampered with, however some people find bread bloats them up so they tend to only have it occassionally.
